Join ISS for Wellness Week to Relax and Raise $ for Cancer
It's funny how you plant a seed and it blossoms. I have been thinking about how to simultaneously raise cancer awareness and money and it all came together. Spa Finders promotes a Wellness Week and this was a perfect venue for my spa. We partnered with them and are offering many great services at a low price of 50.00 the entire week of 3-19 through 3-25. I have been working on finding ways to offer wellness and beauty services at an affordable rate so people can benefit from treatments with more frequency, so I welcomed Spa Finders Wellness Week and created an event around it. On Wednesday, 3-21 Intelligent Skin Sense is having an afternoon event. Specialists will be at the spa from 3 to 7 to offer skin consultations, hair consultations, free mini-make-overs and much more. A highly recommended, neighboring dermatologist , Dr Jason McBean, volunteered to speak about skin cancer that evening at 5:30. Anyone who has a teenager should come. Skin Cancer is growing fastest amongst teens partly due the heavy use of suntan beds. I have a neice who already had a scare and had to have some skin removed surgically and was told to stay away from tanning beds. So if you know anyone who has recovered from cancer and wants some complimentary advice on how to take care of their skin after treatment, please send them by. If you are a care-giver, come in for the spa wellness treatments even if you are not a Spa Finder Member. ISS will honor the service special anyway.
